Video has become one of the must haves for marketing. TikTok has completely changed the game when it comes to short form content and getting as many eyes on your videos as possible. They have done such a good job that Instagram and Facebook have also changed their algorithm to favor videos over photo, especially short form videos. Needless to say if you're not taking advantage of short form video then you’re missing out on a huge opportunity.

The easiest way to start making content is to just use your phone to record short videos and post them to social media. Do some research on what your competitors are making content about and use that as some inspiration. If you make consistent content and continue to post on social media then you will be on your way to growing your brand. The downside of doing all of this content yourself is that you will have to spend a lot of time and energy to plan, shoot, edit, and post, which is a lot of time away from your business.

Another upside of video is the connection you build with the viewer when they can see you and hear your voice. People are more likely to trust you if they see you and hear you more often.
